OUR EVENTS

 

Bella Cosi will be conducting Cooking Classes on Monday evenings, with a maximum class size of 10 people per session. Not only will you get to learn how to cook, you will also receive a Bella Cosi apron and a glass of wine, along with your recipes for the evening.

 

Classes start at 6:30pm and conclude at 9:00pm, BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL. To arrange your next cooking class at Bella Cosi, please email Marisa, or call 03 9676 2775. For the latest updates on class availability and upcoming special events, follow us on Facebook.

 

The cost for each class is $140 per student - however, if you would like to attend additional classes and bring your Bella Cosi apron along, the cost of further lessons will be only $120.

 

Once you have made your meals, you will be invited to sit down at our communal table and enjoy your new friends’ company, along with the meals you’ve made during the class. Classes are for beginners, and even the confident cook who is looking for new ideas in the kitchen. We will also be hosting classes especially for singles or couples. Impress your family and friends with exciting new meals and treats that will keep them wanting to know your secret recipes...

 

ABOUT OUR COOKING TEACHERS

 

Bella Cosi (Marisa Di Lisio)

 

Marisa started making homemade biscotti and supplying cafés and David Jones in Melbourne over 15 years ago. She has also been conducting cooking classes over the last 13 years at R.M.I.T. and in the kitchens of The Council Of Adult Education in the CBD.

 

Marisa has also run her own catering business and written two cookbooks, with a third due to be published at the end of 2011. She is a Food Editor for CREMA magazine and is also a café consultant.

 

Her passion for food and people comes across in her easy-to-follow recipes and meals, which she teaches in the relaxed, homestyle atmosphere of her kitchen at Bella Cosi.
